Tigatel 20 Tablet is an antihypertensive medication used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains Telmisartan (20mg), which belongs to the class of angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). By relaxing blood vessels, it helps lower blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems. It may also be prescribed for patients at risk of cardiovascular complications.
How to Use:
Take Tigatel 20 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Take it at the same time each day for consistent blood pressure control. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Precautions:

Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems.

Avoid using potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium unless directed by your physician.

Dosage:
The usual starting dose is one tablet (20mg) once daily. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response to treatment. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible, unless it is near the time of the next dose. Do not double doses.
