Description
Zifi 50 DT Tablet is a pediatric antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections. It belongs to the cephalosporin group and works by stopping bacterial growth. The DT (dispersible tablet) form is easy for children to take—dissolves in water and is gentle on the stomach. It is commonly prescribed for infections of the ear, throat, lungs, urinary tract, and typhoid fever in children.
Uses:

Throat infection (tonsillitis, pharyngitis)

Dosage:

Dose depends on child’s age & weight

Usually given once or twice daily as per doctor’s advice

How to Use:

DT tablet: Dissolve in a spoonful of water, then give to the child

Can be taken with or without food, but after food is preferred

Give at the same time daily for best effect
Precautions:

Not effective for viral infections (cold, flu)

Inform doctor if child has kidney problems or allergies to penicillin/cephalosporins

Do not stop early — may cause antibiotic resistance

Use with caution in severe diarrhea history

Keep child hydrated
