Zonamax ES Injection is an antibiotic combination used to treat serious bacterial infections, including:

It contains:

Cefoperazone: A broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Sulbactam: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the effectiveness of Cefoperazone against resistant bacteria.
This combination helps combat resistant bacterial strains and treat severe infections effectively.
Dosage & Administration:

Administered intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM) as advised by a doctor.

Typical adult dosage: 1.5g (1000mg/500mg) every 12 hours, depending on severity and type of infection.

Dosage may need adjustment in patients with kidney impairment.
