Description
Rosumac 20 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 20mg, a statin medication used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, the enzyme responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the liver, helping prevent atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes.
The higher 20mg strength is usually prescribed for patients who need more aggressive cholesterol control compared to the 10mg dose.
