Description
MUPICIP 15 GM is a topical antibiotic ointment from Cipla Ltd., containing Mupirocin 2% w/w. It is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections, particularly those caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.
Mupirocin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacterial growth and promoting faster healing of affected skin. This helps reduce redness, swelling, pus formation, and discomfort.
