Uses:

Unwanted 21 Days Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) used for:

• Preventing unwanted pregnancy when taken regularly

• Helping regulate menstrual cycles

• Reducing menstrual cramps and flow

• Sometimes prescribed to manage hormonal acne and PCOS-related issues

How It Works:

• Contains Ethinyl Estradiol (estrogen) and Levonorgestrel (progestin).

• Prevents ovulation (release of eggs from the ovary).

• Thickens cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to reach the egg.

• Alters the uterine lining to reduce the chance of implantation.

Dosage & Administration:

• One tablet is taken daily at the same time for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break (during which withdrawal bleeding occurs, similar to a period).

• A new pack is started after the 7-day break.

• For maximum effectiveness, do not miss doses.

Side Effects:

Common:

• Nausea, headache

• Breast tenderness

• Mild weight changes

• Mood swings or irritability

• Irregular spotting

Rare but serious:

• Risk of blood clots, stroke, or heart attack (higher in smokers and women above 35 years)

• Severe abdominal pain, chest pain, vision or speech changes (seek immediate medical help)

Precautions & Warnings:

• Not suitable for women with a history of blood clots, uncontrolled hypertension, liver disease, breast cancer, or heart disease.

• Smoking should be avoided, especially in women above 35 years.

• Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) — condoms are still recommended for protection.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember; if more than one tablet is missed, consult the instructions or a doctor.

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use this pill.
