Omesec 20 Capsule

Description

Omesec 20 Capsule is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce excess stomach acid. It contains Omeprazole (20mg), which works by blocking the enzyme in the stomach lining responsible for acid production. This helps relieve symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and promotes healing of ulcers in the stomach and duodenum.

Uses:

• Treatment of acid reflux and heartburn

• Management of GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)

• Healing and prevention of stomach and duodenal ulcers

• Prevention of acid-related damage in long-term NSAID users

Dosage:
The usual recommended dose is one capsule daily, preferably before breakfast, or as prescribed by your doctor. Dosage may vary depending on the condition being treated.

How to Use:
Swallow the capsule whole with water, preferably on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before a meal. Do not crush or chew. Take it at the same time each day for best results.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease or are taking other medications.

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use it only under medical supervision.

• Avoid prolonged use without doctor’s guidance.

• Report any unusual symptoms such as persistent diarrhea, severe abdominal pain, or allergic reactions.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include headache, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, or mild dizziness. Rare side effects include allergic reactions, vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term use, or severe stomach issues.
