Aten-H 12.5 Tablet

Description

Aten-H 12.5 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medicine used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) and reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications. It contains:

• Atenolol, a beta-blocker that slows heart rate and decreases heart workload

• Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic that removes excess salt and water from the body

Main Uses:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Prevention of stroke, heart attack, and other cardiovascular events

• Reducing fluid retention (edema) in certain conditions

How it Works:

• Atenolol lowers heart rate and cardiac workload, reducing blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide increases urine output, lowering blood volume and blood pressure.

Dosage:
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, with or without food. Regular blood pressure monitoring is advised.
