Description
Olmesar 20 Tablet contains Olmesartan Medoxomil (20mg), an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) used for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure). By lowering blood pressure, it helps reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damage. It is also beneficial for protecting kidney function in patients with diabetes.
This medicine works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a natural substance that narrows blood vessels. By relaxing blood vessels, Olmesar 20 improves blood flow and reduces strain on the heart, thereby lowering blood pressure effectively.
How to use:
Olmesar 20 Tablet can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time every day to maintain consistent blood pressure control. Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew or crush it. Continue taking the medicine even if you feel well, as stopping suddenly may worsen your condition.

Along with medication, lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, weight control, reducing salt intake, quitting smoking, and limiting alcohol can help improve blood pressure management.
Possible side effects:
Most side effects are mild and temporary. Commonly reported ones include dizziness, cough, diarrhea, headache, indigestion, nausea, runny nose, flu-like symptoms, stomach pain, and muscle or joint pain. If these persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Rarely, chest pain or blood in urine may occur—seek medical attention immediately if these appear.

Missed dose:
