Description

DYtor MD 5 Tablet contains Torasemide (5mg), a loop diuretic (water pill) that helps the body remove excess salt and water by increasing urine output. It is mainly prescribed to manage edema (fluid retention) caused by heart failure, kidney disease, or liver disorders, and to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

By reducing the extra fluid load in the body, DYtor MD 5 Tablet helps ease swelling, improve breathing, and lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the strain on the heart and improving circulation.

Uses:

  • Edema due to heart, kidney, or liver problems

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

  • Management of fluid overload in heart failure or renal disorders

  • Prevention of shortness of breath and swelling associated with fluid retention

Dosage:

  • Usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night.

  • Take the dose exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

  • Do not skip or double doses; consistency ensures better control of symptoms.

How to Use:

  • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

  • Can be taken with or without food.

  • Maintain adequate hydration unless directed otherwise.

  • Avoid taking the medicine late in the evening.

Precautions:

  • Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver impairment, dehydration, or electrolyte imbalance.

  • Avoid alcohol as it may enhance dizziness or dehydration.

  • Use caution in elderly patients and those taking other antihypertensive or diuretic medications.

  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed.

  • Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels is important during long-term use.

Side Effects:

  • Increased urination

  • Dizziness or weakness

  • Headache
