Description
diaNORM 80mg Tablet is an oral antidiabetic medicine containing Gliclazide (80mg), which belongs to the sulfonylurea class of drugs. It is used to control high blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (non-insulin-dependent diabetes). Gliclazide works by stimulating the pancreas to produce more insulin and improving how the body utilizes it.
Regular use of diaNORM helps maintain blood sugar within normal limits and prevents long-term diabetes-related complications such as nerve damage, kidney failure, blindness, and heart problems. Along with medication, proper diet, regular exercise, and weight control are essential for effective diabetes management.
