Description

Vildagard M 1000mg/50mg Tablet is a combination antidiabetic medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It contains:

• Metformin – a biguanide that lowers glucose production in the liver, improves insulin sensitivity, and helps the body use insulin more effectively.

• Vildagliptin – a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release and decreases glucagon secretion after meals, improving blood sugar control.

Together, they provide better glycemic control than either medicine alone, without causing major weight gain.

Uses

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Helps control fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels

• Reduces risk of long-term complications like kidney disease, nerve damage, eye problems, and heart disease

Side Effects
