Description
Vildagard M 1000mg/50mg Tablet is a combination antidiabetic medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It contains:
-
Metformin – a biguanide that lowers glucose production in the liver, improves insulin sensitivity, and helps the body use insulin more effectively.
-
Vildagliptin – a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release and decreases glucagon secretion after meals, improving blood sugar control.
Together, they provide better glycemic control than either medicine alone, without causing major weight gain.
