Description
Azee 500 Injection is a macrolide antibiotic injection used for treating moderate to severe bacterial infections, especially when oral medication cannot be given. It is commonly used for pneumonia, severe bronchitis, throat infections, sinus infections, skin infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
Dosage:
Given by a doctor or nurse only.
Typical dose: 500mg once daily, depending on the severity and type of infection.
Duration is usually 1–3 days, followed by oral antibiotics if required.
How to Use:

Administered intravenously (IV) in a hospital or clinic.

Should not be self-administered.

Infused slowly over the recommended time as instructed by medical staff.
Precautions:

Inform doctor if you have liver problems, kidney disease, or heart rhythm issues (QT prolongation).

Not for viral infections such as cold or flu.

Avoid use if you previously had jaundice or liver problems due to Azithromycin.
