Description

SiTaxa M 50/1000 Tablet is a combination anti-diabetic medication containing Sitagliptin and Metformin. Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin hormone activity, stimulating insulin release and reducing glucose production after meals. Metformin, a biguanide, decreases hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity.
This combination is used in adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus to control blood sugar levels when diet, exercise, or monotherapy is insufficient.
