Uses:
Olmetime-AM 40 Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single medicine. Proper control helps prevent heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

How it Works:

Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that widens blood vessels by reducing calcium entry into the vessel walls.
Together, they provide effective and long-lasting blood pressure control.

Dosage:
Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. The dose is decided based on your blood pressure levels and treatment response.

How to Use:
Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

Precautions:

Do not use during pregnancy as it may harm the unborn baby
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, liver problems, or heart conditions
Avoid dehydration; inform your doctor if you have severe vomiting or diarrhea
Regular blood pressure monitoring is advised

Side Effects:
Common side effects include dizziness, headache, flushing, ankle or foot swelling (edema), and fatigue. These usually improve as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if side effects are severe or persistent.
