ACNETOIN-i 10

Description

Acnetoin-i 10 Capsule contains Isotretinoin 10 mg and is a prescription oral retinoid used to treat severe, treatment-resistant forms of acne, such as nodular and cystic acne, which do not respond adequately to standard therapies like antibiotics.

How it Works:
Isotretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A. It acts by reducing the size and activity of sebaceous (oil) glands in the skin, thereby decreasing the production of sebum. This reduction in sebum not only lessens pore blockages and bacterial growth but also helps reduce inflammation and promotes the healing of severe acne lesions. Isotretinoin may also kill acne-causing bacteria and has anti-inflammatory effects.

Uses of Acnetoin-i 10:

• Treatment of severe nodular or cystic acne that is unresponsive to other treatments including antibiotics

• For acne with a high risk of permanent scarring or severe psychological impact

Dosage & Administration:

Safety & Precautions:

• Absolutely contraindicated in pregnancy (risk of serious birth defects)—pregnancy tests and strict contraception required

• Avoid blood donation during and for at least 1 month after therapy

• Not recommended for breastfeeding

• Common side effects: dry lips, mouth, skin, and eyes; rash; increased liver enzymes; elevated cholesterol; muscle/joint pain; headache

• May cause photosensitivity—limit sun exposure, use sunscreen

• Do not undergo waxing, dermabrasion, or laser treatments during therapy

• May affect mood; report psychiatric symptoms to your doctor immediately

• Monitor liver function, blood lipids, and blood counts periodically during treatment
