Description
Paranorm Tablet is a combination medication used for the symptomatic treatment of migraine headaches. It combines metoclopramide, a prokinetic agent, with paracetamol, a widely used analgesic and antipyretic.
-
Metoclopramide works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain, which helps in controlling nausea and vomiting associated with migraines. Additionally, it enhances the motility of the upper gastrointestinal tract, facilitating the movement of food through the stomach.
-
Paracetamol acts centrally in the brain to inhibit the production of prostaglandins, chemicals responsible for pain and fever, thereby providing relief from headache and reducing fever.
