Description
Telpres CT 80 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medicine used to effectively manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains:
-
Telmisartan (80mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessels from tightening, helping them relax and lower blood pressure.
-
Chlorthalidone (12.5mg): A thiazide-like diuretic that helps eliminate excess water and salt through urine, thereby reducing blood pressure and fluid retention.
This higher-dose formulation is usually prescribed when lower strengths of Telmisartan or Telpres CT are insufficient to control blood pressure.
