Udiliv 150mg Tablet contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA), a naturally occurring bile acid used in the treatment of various liver and gallbladder disorders. It is particularly effective in dissolving certain types of gallstones and in managing chronic liver diseases such as primary biliary cirrhosis, cholestatic liver diseases, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).

Indications / Uses:
Udiliv 150mg Tablet is prescribed for:

Dissolving cholesterol gallstones (in patients who cannot undergo surgery)
Primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) – an autoimmune liver condition
Chronic cholestatic liver diseases
Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) & fatty liver disease
Improving bile flow in conditions with impaired bile secretion

How It Works:
Ursodeoxycholic Acid works by:

Reducing cholesterol absorption from the intestine
Decreasing cholesterol production in the liver
Breaking down cholesterol deposits in the gallbladder
Protecting liver cells and improving bile flow, thus reducing liver damage

Dosage & Administration:

The dose is determined based on body weight and medical condition.
Usually taken once or twice daily with water, after meals.
Must be taken regularly for several months for gallstone dissolution.
