Description

Polyclav 625mg Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination containing Amoxycillin (500mg), a penicillin-class antibiotic, and Clavulanic Acid (125mg), a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination enhances the antibacterial activity of amoxycillin by protecting it from degradation by beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.

It is used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and ear, nose, and throat infections. The 625mg formulation is suitable for adults and patients requiring higher doses for more serious infections.

Common Uses:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Ear, nose, and throat infections (sinusitis, otitis media, pharyngitis)

• Urinary tract infections
