Description

MIZOWEL-DT is a dispersible, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) tablet provided in blister packaging. It contains Piroxicam 20 mg and is designed for convenient short-term management of pain, swelling, and inflammation, especially in patients with arthritis and joint disease.

How it Works

Piroxicam works by inhibiting the enzymes cyclooxygenase-1 and -2 (COX-1 and COX-2), thus blocking the production of prostaglandins—chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation in the body. By reducing prostaglandin levels, it alleviates pain, tenderness, and swelling in affected areas.
