Description

Rosugard F 10 Tablet is a combination lipid-lowering medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It contains Rosuvastatin (10mg), a statin, and Fenofibrate (160mg), a fibrate, which work together to control cholesterol and triglyceride levels. This dual therapy is especially useful for patients with mixed dyslipidemia (high LDL cholesterol + high triglycerides + low HDL cholesterol), where single-drug therapy is not sufficient.

How It Works

• Rosuvastatin (10mg): Blocks HMG-CoA reductase, reducing cholesterol production in the liver. Lowers LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, while increasing HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol).

• Fenofibrate (160mg): Activates PPAR-alpha receptors, promoting the breakdown of triglycerides and fatty acids. It significantly reduces high triglyceride levels and helps improve HDL.

Together, they provide a comprehensive lipid-lowering effect.
