Alsartan AM Tablet

Description

Alsartan AM Tablet is a combination medicine that contains Losartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker – ARB) and Amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker – CCB). This combination helps in lowering blood pressure more effectively by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the workload on the heart. It is commonly prescribed when single-drug therapy is not sufficient to control high blood pressure.

Uses

• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Protects kidneys in certain patients with type 2 diabetes and proteinuria

Side Effects
