Description

Abendol Plus Tablet is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic combination medicine from Leeford Healthcare, containing Albendazole 400 mg (micronized) and Ivermectin 12 mg per tablet. It is indicated for the treatment of various intestinal and tissue worm (helminthic) infections, as well as certain ectoparasitic (skin) infestations.

How it Works:

• Albendazole inhibits glucose uptake in parasitic worms, leading to their energy depletion, paralysis, and death.

• Ivermectin increases permeability of parasite cell membranes, causing paralysis and expulsion from the body. This dual action targets different types of worms and external parasites effectively.

Uses of Abendol Plus Tablet:

• Treatment of intestinal worms (roundworm, pinworm, hookworm, whipworm, threadworm, tapeworm)

• Additional use against microfilaria (filariasis), strongyloidiasis, ascariasis, and tissue parasites

• Treatment of ectoparasitic infestations like scabies and body lice
