Description
Acnetoin-i 20 Capsule contains Isotretinoin 20 mg, a prescription oral retinoid for severe, treatment-resistant acne (nodular/cystic) that does not improve with standard therapies such as antibiotics.
How it Works:
Isotretinoin reduces size and activity of sebaceous (oil) glands, diminishing oil (sebum) production. This lessens pore blockages, bacterial growth, and inflammation, helping to clear severe and scarring-prone acne.

Dosage & Administration:

Common side effects: dry lips, mouth, skin, dry eyes, nosebleeds, joint pain, muscle pain, mild headache, rash, increased cholesterol or liver enzymes

May cause or worsen mood changes, depression, or suicidal thoughts—report any psychiatric symptoms promptly

Sensitivity to sunlight is increased—use sunscreen and limit sun exposure

Other risks: changes in night vision, rare liver or pancreas issues, bone/joint pain

Lab monitoring: doctor will check blood lipids, liver enzymes, blood counts during therapy
