Description

Acnetoin-i 20 Capsule contains Isotretinoin 20 mg, a prescription oral retinoid for severe, treatment-resistant acne (nodular/cystic) that does not improve with standard therapies such as antibiotics.

How it Works:
Isotretinoin reduces size and activity of sebaceous (oil) glands, diminishing oil (sebum) production. This lessens pore blockages, bacterial growth, and inflammation, helping to clear severe and scarring-prone acne.

Uses:

• Treatment of severe acne unresponsive to antibiotics

• For acne with a high risk of physical scarring or psychological impact

Dosage & Administration:

Safety & Precautions:

• Contraindicated in pregnancy—can cause severe birth defects. Strict contraception and pregnancy testing are mandatory before, during, and after treatment

• Not recommended while breastfeeding

• Common side effects: dry lips, mouth, skin, dry eyes, nosebleeds, joint pain, muscle pain, mild headache, rash, increased cholesterol or liver enzymes

• May cause or worsen mood changes, depression, or suicidal thoughts—report any psychiatric symptoms promptly

• Sensitivity to sunlight is increased—use sunscreen and limit sun exposure

• Other risks: changes in night vision, rare liver or pancreas issues, bone/joint pain

• Lab monitoring: doctor will check blood lipids, liver enzymes, blood counts during therapy
