Description

Amlip 2.5 Tablet is a prescription medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It contains Amlodipine (2.5mg), a calcium channel blocker used in the management of high blood pressure (hypertension) and chest pain due to angina.

How it Works:
Amlodipine belongs to the class of calcium channel blockers (CCBs). It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more smoothly. This helps lower blood pressure, reduces the workload on the heart, and improves the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart muscles, thereby preventing angina attacks.

Uses of Amlip 2.5:

• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Management of angina pectoris (chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart)

• Prevention of heart-related complications such as stroke and heart attack in hypertensive patients
