Arbitel-80 H Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Treats high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Telmisartan (80mg) relaxes blood vessels for stronger BP control

• Hydrochlorothiazide helps remove excess salt & water

• Lowers risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage

Dosage:

• Commonly one tablet daily

• Higher Telmisartan dose for patients needing stronger BP reduction

• Don’t stop the medicine without doctor guidance

How to use:

• Take at the same time every day

• With or without food

• Stay well-hydrated

• Regular BP checks and electrolyte monitoring advised

Precautions:

• Avoid during pregnancy

• Caution in kidney or liver disease

• May cause low potassium or sodium — blood tests may be needed

• Avoid alcohol — may enhance dizziness/low BP

• Can cause lightheadedness; avoid driving initially

• Avoid if severely dehydrated

Side effects:

• Dizziness or low BP

• Increased urination

• Low potassium/sodium

• Muscle cramps

• Headache

• Weakness/fatigue

• Dry mouth

• Increased uric acid (may worsen gout
