Arbitel-CT 40 Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Telmisartan (40mg) relaxes blood vessels

• Chlorthalidone (12.5mg) removes excess water & salt

• Helps lower risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney complications

Dosage:

• Usually one tablet daily

• Taken regularly for best effect

• Do not stop suddenly without doctor advice

How to use:

• Can be taken with or without food

• Prefer taking it in the morning (due to increased urination)

• Maintain hydration

• Monitor blood pressure and electrolytes regularly

Precautions:

• Avoid in pregnancy

• Use caution in kidney or liver disease

• May alter electrolytes — sodium, potassium, magnesium

• Avoid alcohol — can increase dizziness

• Risk of dehydration, especially in hot weather

• May cause dizziness — avoid driving initially

Side effects:

• Dizziness or low BP

• Increased urination

• Low potassium/sodium

• Muscle cramps

• Weakness or fatigue

• Nausea

• Increased uric acid (may trigger gout)

• Mild electrolyte imbalance
