Description

Atorva Tablet contains Atorvastatin, a statin medication used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases in patients with high cholesterol or other risk factors.

Main Uses:

• Reducing LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and triglycerides

• Increasing HDL (“good”) cholesterol

• Prevention of heart attack, stroke, and atherosclerosis

• Management of hyperlipidemia and mixed dyslipidemia

How it Works:
Atorvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver, thereby reducing overall blood cholesterol levels.

Dosage:
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, with or without food. Regular blood tests may be needed to monitor cholesterol levels.
