Uses:
Azulix 4 MF Tablet PR is an oral anti-diabetic medicine for Type 2 diabetes mellitus. It combines:

• Glimepiride (4mg): stimulates insulin release from the pancreas.

• Metformin (500mg): lowers glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity.

This combination is used when single therapy is insufficient to maintain blood sugar control.

Dosage:

• Typically 1 tablet once or twice daily, as advised by your doctor.

• Take with meals to reduce the risk of low blood sugar and gastrointestinal side effects.

How to Use:

• Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew (PR = prolonged release).

• Take at the same time each day for consistent blood sugar control.

• Maintain a proper diet and exercise routine.

Precautions:

• Monitor blood glucose regularly.

• Avoid alcohol—it increases risk of hypoglycemia (from Glimepiride) and lactic acidosis (from Metformin).

• Inform your doctor of any kidney or liver issues.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed.
