How Bisotab 5 Works

Bisoprolol is a selective beta-1 blocker. It reduces the effects of adrenaline on the heart, causing the heart to beat more slowly and with less force.

This helps lower blood pressure and reduces the workload and oxygen demand of the heart.

Dosage & How to Use

Take Bisotab 5 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• It may be taken with or without food.
• Take it at approximately the same time every day.
• Do not stop taking it suddenly, as this may worsen heart-related symptoms.
• Continue treatment even if you feel well unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Tiredness
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Slow heart rate
• Cold hands and feet
• Nausea
• Low blood pressure

Seek medical attention for severe breathing difficulty, fainting, very slow heartbeat, or worsening chest pain.

Precautions
