Description
Cefolac-O 200 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination of Cefixime (a third-generation cephalosporin) and Ofloxacin (a fluoroquinolone). This dual therapy provides enhanced effectiveness against a wide range of bacterial infections, particularly those resistant to single-drug therapy.
Uses / Indications:

Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, sinusitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis)

Ear, nose, and throat infections

Gastrointestinal tract infections, including typhoid fever and traveler’s diarrhea

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Gynecological and pelvic infections

Skin and soft tissue infections

Precautions:

Use cautiously in patients with kidney or liver impairment.

Avoid in patients with history of tendon disorders or seizures.

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed.

Limit exposure to sunlight; Ofloxacin may cause photosensitivity.
