Description

Uses:

• Reduces excess stomach acid

• Treats acidity, heartburn, sour reflux

• Helps in gastric and duodenal ulcer healing

• Used in GERD (acid reflux disease)

• Prevents acid-related damage in long-term NSAID use

• Used in Zollinger–Ellison syndrome (high acid production)

Dosage:

• Usually 1 capsule once daily

• Take 30 minutes before food, preferably breakfast

• Dosage may vary depending on condition (follow doctor’s advice)

How to Use:

• Swallow capsule whole with water

• Do not crush or chew

• Take on an empty stomach for best effect

• Take at the same time daily

Precautions:

• Avoid if allergic to Lansoprazole or other PPIs

• Inform doctor if you have liver problems

• Long-term use may cause Vitamin B12 deficiency

• May reduce magnesium levels with prolonged use

• Caution in osteoporosis patients (slight fracture risk)

• Avoid alcohol and smoking as they worsen acidity

• Tell your doctor about all ongoing medicines

Side Effects:

• Nausea or vomiting

• Diarrhea or constipation

• Dizziness

• Dry mouth

• Rare: severe allergic reaction, low magnesium, persistent stomach discomfort
