How Cilacar-M Works

Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes the muscles of blood-vessel walls, allowing blood to flow more easily and reducing blood pressure.

Metoprolol Succinate is a beta-1 selective blocker. It slows the heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, thereby decreasing the workload and oxygen demand of the heart.

Together, they provide complementary blood-pressure and cardiovascular effects.

Dosage & How to Use

Take Cilacar-M 10/50 Tablet ER exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the extended-release tablet.
• It may be taken with or without food as directed.
• Take it at approximately the same time every day.
• Do not stop Metoprolol suddenly without medical advice.
• Continue your recommended diet, exercise, and other lifestyle measures.

Side Effects
