Description
Colospa Tablet contains Mebeverine (135mg), an antispasmodic medicine primarily used for the relief of abdominal pain and cramps caused by irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal conditions. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the intestine, thereby reducing spasms, bloating, and discomfort without affecting normal gut movements.

How it Works

Mebeverine directly acts on the smooth muscles of the intestine.

It relaxes the muscle spasms without interfering with the normal movements of the bowel.

Unlike some other antispasmodics, it does not cause constipation or affect gastric emptying.
Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: 1 tablet (135mg), 2–3 times daily, preferably 20 minutes before meals.

Swallow whole with water, do not crush or chew.

Dosage should be followed exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
