Cyclomune 0.05% Eye Drop

Description

Cyclomune 0.05% Eye Drop contains Ciclosporin (0.05% w/v), an immunosuppressant used for the treatment of chronic dry eye disease (keratoconjunctivitis sicca). It works by reducing inflammation in the eyes and increasing natural tear production, helping relieve dryness, irritation, and discomfort over time.

Uses:

• Chronic dry eye due to reduced tear production

• Keratoconjunctivitis sicca

• Post-surgical inflammation management (as advised by doctor)

• Other inflammatory eye conditions when prescribed

Dosage:

• Typically 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily or as directed by the doctor.

• Benefits may take several weeks to appear; consistent use is important.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.

• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.

Side Effects:

• Temporary burning or stinging in the eyes

• Redness, itching, or watery eyes

• Blurred vision immediately after use

• Rare: eye infection or severe allergic reaction

Precautions:

• For ophthalmic use only—do not swallow.

• Avoid driving or operating machinery until vision clears after application.

• Inform doctor if you have active eye infection or recent eye surgery.
