Cyclomune 0.1% Eye Drop

Description

Cyclomune 0.1% Eye Drop contains Ciclosporin (0.1% w/v), an immunosuppressant medicine. It is primarily used in the treatment of chronic dry eye disease (keratoconjunctivitis sicca) caused by inflammation. Ciclosporin works by reducing inflammation in the eye and increasing natural tear production, providing long-term relief from dryness, irritation, and discomfort.

Uses:

• Chronic dry eye (due to reduced tear production)

• Keratoconjunctivitis sicca

• Post eye surgery (to reduce inflammation, if prescribed)

• Other inflammatory eye conditions (as advised by the doctor)

Dosage:

• Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) as prescribed by the doctor, usually twice daily.

• Use regularly for the best results; benefits may take several weeks to appear.

• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination.

• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.

Side Effects:

• Temporary eye burning or stinging

• Redness, itching, or watery eyes

• Blurred vision immediately after use

• Rare: eye infection or severe allergic reaction

Precautions:

• For ophthalmic use only—do not swallow.

• Avoid driving or operating machinery until vision clears after application.

• Inform your doctor if you have an eye infection or history of eye surgery.

• Safe use in pregnancy and breastfeeding should be discussed with a doctor.

• Store in a cool, dry place and discard after the recommended period once opened.
