DAILYGLIM PM 1 Tablet is a triple oral antidiabetic therapy used for optimal blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes when diet, exercise, and single or dual agent therapies are insufficient.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus: For persistent high blood sugar in adults, helps control blood glucose and lower risk of diabetes-related complications such as kidney, nerve, eye, heart, and vascular problems.

How it Works / Key Benefits

Glimepiride: Increases insulin release from the pancreas, lowering blood glucose after meals.

Dosage & Administration

Take one bilayered tablet daily, ideally with a major meal (breakfast/lunch) to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.

Swallow whole with water; do not break, crush, or chew.

Follow physician instructions regarding dose, timing, and duration; never double dose if missed, resume at regular schedule.

Regular monitoring of blood sugar, kidney and liver function is advised during therapy.
Safety & Side Effects

Common: Hypoglycemia (shakiness, hunger, dizziness), headache, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, mild edema, weight gain.

Occasional: Increased risk of bone fracture, bladder inflammation or infection (due to pioglitazone), respiratory tract infection, anemia.

Not for type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe kidney/liver/heart disease, or in pregnancy without doctor’s advice.

Avoid excessive alcohol intake to reduce risk of hypoglycemia and lactic acidosis.
