Description
DAILYVOG M 2 Tablet is a triple-action oral antidiabetic for adults with type 2 diabetes, offering improved glycemic control by targeting multiple mechanisms and particularly addressing both fasting and post-meal blood sugar elevations.
Uses / Indications
-
Type 2 diabetes mellitus: Indicated for patients whose blood sugar is inadequately controlled with diet, exercise, and single or dual therapy.
-
Reduces the risk of diabetes complications such as kidney, eye, nerve, heart, and vascular problems when taken consistently as part of a complete management plan.
How it Works / Key Benefits
-
Voglibose: Delays carbohydrate digestion and absorption in the intestine, reducing post-meal blood glucose spikes.
-
Glimepiride: Increases insulin secretion from the pancreas, lowering glucose after meals.
-
Metformin (SR): Reduces liver glucose production, improves insulin sensitivity, and slows intestinal glucose uptake for steady control and less GI upset.
-
The combination controls both fasting and postprandial hyperglycemia more efficiently than dual or monotherapies.
Dosage & Administration
-
Take one tablet daily (timing as advised, typically with a main meal) and swallow whole with water—do not break or chew.
-
Maintain the same time daily, do not skip meals, and continuously monitor blood sugar.
-
If a dose is missed, continue regular schedule—do not double up.
Safety & Side Effects
-
Common: Hypoglycemia (shakiness, dizziness, sweating), flatulence, diarrhea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, headache, taste changes, mild swelling; some may experience weight gain.
-
Rare/serious: Lactic acidosis with metformin (urgent medical care for rapid breathing, severe weakness, vomiting), allergic reactions, signs of liver or kidney dysfunction.
-
Not for type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe kidney/liver disease, or during pregnancy/breastfeeding without medical advice.
-
Limit alcohol and monitor regularly for lab parameters as recommended by your physician.
Note:
DAILYVOG M 2 offers comprehensive blood sugar control for difficult or advanced type 2 diabetes cases—optimally effective in combination with diet, regular exercise, and clinical follow-up.
