Description
Dapamac 5 Tablet contains Dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 (sodium-glucose co-transporter-2) inhibitor. It is used in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus to help control blood sugar levels. By preventing the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, it increases glucose excretion through urine, thereby lowering blood glucose. Beyond glycemic control, it also offers cardio-renal protective benefits in patients with heart disease or kidney impairment.

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (alone or with other antidiabetic medicines)

Helps reduce the risk of heart failure hospitalization in diabetic patients
