Description

Dronis P Tablet contains Drospirenone (4mg), a synthetic progestin used for contraception and hormonal regulation. It works by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to block sperm, and altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation.

Uses:

• Contraception (prevention of pregnancy)

• Management of hormonal imbalances

• Treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in certain cases

• Regulating menstrual cycles

Dosage:

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Usually 1 tablet daily, at the same time each day.

• Swallow whole with water; can be taken with or without food.

• Follow the prescribed cycle and instructions for missed doses.

Side Effects:

• Nausea, vomiting

• Headache, breast tenderness

• Mood changes

• Irregular bleeding or spotting

• Rare: blood clots, high blood pressure, liver problems

Precautions:

• Not suitable for women with history of blood clots, stroke, liver disease, or hormone-sensitive cancers.
