Encorate Tablet

Description

Encorate Tablet is a prescription medicine containing Sodium Valproate, an antiepileptic drug. It is commonly prescribed to control and prevent seizures (epilepsy). It works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain, reducing abnormal nerve impulses, and preventing seizures. It may also be used in the treatment of bipolar disorder and migraine prevention (as prescribed).

Uses:

• Treatment and prevention of epilepsy (seizures)

• Management of bipolar disorder (mood stabilization)

• Prevention of migraine headaches (as prescribed)

How to Use:

• Take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.

• Can be taken with or after food to avoid stomach upset.

• Dosage depends on age, body weight, and medical condition.

• Do not stop suddenly, as it may increase the risk of seizures.

Precautions:

• Use only under medical supervision.

• Inform your doctor if you have liver or pancreas problems.

• Regular liver function tests may be required during treatment.
