How ETHORED-250 Works

Etamsylate acts by:

• Increasing capillary resistance and stabilizing the vessel wall.

• Improving abnormal platelet adhesion, helping platelets stick together to form blood clots.

• Inhibiting prostaglandins responsible for vasodilation and increased capillary permeability, thereby limiting bleeding and edema.

• Stimulating thrombopoiesis and facilitating the formation and aggregation of platelets at sites of vessel injury.

Uses of ETHORED-250

• Prevention and treatment of bleeding in menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding).

• Control of hemorrhages following surgery, injuries, and dental procedures.

• Reduction of bleeding from capillaries in conditions like thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopathy, hypocoagulation, and neonatal intraventricular or periventricular hemorrhage.
