Uses:
Fludac 10 Capsule is prescribed for:

• Depression

• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

• Panic disorder

• Anxiety-related conditions

• Bulimia nervosa (eating disorder)
  It helps improve mood, reduce anxiety, and restore interest in daily activities.

How it Works:
Fluoxetine belongs to the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) class. It works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, a chemical that helps regulate mood, emotions, and behavior.

Dosage:
Take the capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. The dose may be gradually adjusted based on response and tolerance.

How to Use:
Swallow the capsule whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, epilepsy, diabetes, or bipolar disorder

• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine

• It may take 2–4 weeks to feel full benefits

• Monitor for mood changes or suicidal thoughts, especially at the start of treatment

Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, headache, sleep disturbances, nervousness, dry mouth, or reduced appetite. These usually improve with time. Seek medical help if severe mood changes or allergic reactions occur.
