Uses:
Fludac 60 Capsule is prescribed for:

• Major depressive disorder (moderate to severe)

• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

• Panic disorder

• Bulimia nervosa

• Treatment-resistant anxiety disorders
  It helps reduce persistent sadness, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and emotional instability.

How it Works:
Fluoxetine is a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI). It works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, which helps regulate mood, emotions, and behavior. Higher doses are used when lower strengths are insufficient.

Dosage:
Take the capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. High-dose therapy requires close medical supervision.

How to Use:
Swallow the capsule whole with water. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, epilepsy, diabetes, bipolar disorder, or heart problems

• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine

• Effects may take 2–4 weeks to become noticeable

• Monitor closely for mood changes, agitation, or suicidal thoughts, especially during early treatment

Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, sweating, dry mouth, or reduced appetite. High doses may increase the risk of restlessness or mood changes. Seek medical help if severe symptoms occur.
