Description

FORAcort 400 Rotacap is a combination medicine used for managing asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles to improve airflow, and Budesonide, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling in the airways. Together, they help prevent asthma attacks, ease breathing, and improve overall lung function when used regularly.

How to Use:
Use the Rotacap only with a Rotahaler device. Do not swallow the capsule. Insert it into the device, inhale deeply through the mouth, and hold your breath for a few seconds before exhaling. Rinse your mouth after each use to prevent throat irritation or fungal infection. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully for best results.

Dosage:
The recommended dosage varies based on the patient’s condition and response to treatment, typically one Rotacap twice daily or as prescribed by your physician. Do not stop the medication abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, liver issues, or tuberculosis. Not suitable for relief of sudden asthma attacks — use a rescue inhaler for emergencies. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use it only under medical supervision.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include throat irritation, cough, hoarseness, headache, tremors, nausea, and oral thrush (fungal infection). To reduce side effects, rinse your mouth after each use. Seek medical help if you experience chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or worsening breathing problems.
