Description
Ketocip Tablet is an antifungal medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It contains Ketoconazole 200mg, an imidazole antifungal drug widely used to treat various fungal infections of the skin, nails, and internal organs.
Ketoconazole works by blocking the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the fungal cell wall weakens, causing leakage of cell contents and eventually leading to the death of the fungus.
