Description

Lopex 2mg Capsule is an antidiarrheal medicine used to control acute and chronic diarrhea. It contains Loperamide (2mg), which works by slowing down intestinal movement, reducing the frequency of bowel movements, and improving stool consistency. This helps relieve diarrhea symptoms and prevents dehydration.

Uses:

• Treatment of acute diarrhea

• Management of chronic diarrhea associated with inflammatory bowel disease

• Relief from traveler’s diarrhea

• Reduces urgency and frequency of bowel movements

Dosage:
The usual adult dose is 2mg (one capsule) after each loose stool, not exceeding 8mg per day for adults unless directed by a doctor. Dosage may vary based on the severity of diarrhea and age.
