Uses:
MACsita 50 Tablet is used for managing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, especially when:

• Diet and exercise alone aren’t enough

• Additional sugar control is required

• Used alone or with other antidiabetic medicines like metformin, glimepiride, or insulin

It helps maintain stable sugar levels throughout the day.

How it Works:

Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that:

• Increases levels of incretin hormones

• Boosts insulin release after meals

• Reduces glucagon (hormone that raises sugar)

• Helps keep blood sugar under control without causing sudden drops (hypoglycemia)

Dosage:

• Usually taken once daily, with or without food.
