MACsita 50 Tablet is used for managing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, especially when:

Diet and exercise alone aren’t enough

Additional sugar control is required

Used alone or with other antidiabetic medicines like metformin, glimepiride, or insulin
It helps maintain stable sugar levels throughout the day.
How it Works:
Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that:

Increases levels of incretin hormones

Boosts insulin release after meals
-
Reduces glucagon (hormone that raises sugar)

Helps keep blood sugar under control without causing sudden drops (hypoglycemia)
Dosage:

Usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Dose may be adjusted based on kidney function and doctor’s advice.
How to Use:

Swallow whole with water.
