How it Works:
Metronidazole kills anaerobic bacteria and parasites by damaging their DNA, preventing them from multiplying.
Dosage:

Given intravenously (IV) in a hospital/clinical setting.

Dose generally 500mg infused over 20–60 minutes, repeated every 8 hours, based on infection severity.

Dose adjustments may be needed in patients with liver or kidney problems.

Only a healthcare professional should administer it.
How to Use:

Do not self-inject.
Precautions:

Strictly avoid alcohol during treatment and 48 hours after stopping.
